Mission

To develop a community of people based in and around the Ingleby Barwick estate in Teesside who share and endeavour to live by common values based on the teaching of Jesus. We want to provide space for reflection, love, support, community, prayer, growth and creative expression without judgement, prejudice or coercion. We want to love the other churches in and around the estate, support them and worship with them. We want to express the idea of being church as a community rather than just doing it as a religion. We want to love without expecting anything in return. That love will look like: practical help for marginalised groups (e.g single parents), empowering community centred activities for the youth of the community, radical acts of kindness to the un-expecting and being community where there is none. We want to develop a network of likeminded groups around the estate all experiencing the healing power of God in their relationships, physical and mental health and spiritual life. We want to regularly come together as a larger community to celebrate what God has done and worship together.
